Week Four Transaction and Predicitions:
This week I bought stock in Progressive. I decided to invest in this stock because everyone has to have insurance, and Progressive is one of the better known insurance companies. This company provides not only car insurance but also house and other insurance coverages that would be needed. This is going to be an investment for me, because I plan on holding on to it for long term. Based upon the 52 week information, I bought these stocks when they were at their lowest. I predict though that within the next few months the stocks will go up by roughly $2. The top compeitors with this stock were State Farm, and Geico. But in the long run and reflecting on the data given, Progressive was the better investment, because the 52 week range information shows that Progressive should never drop extremely, but there is always the chance it will jump up a bunch. This stock is part of the finance sector.

Add a bit more numbers for like what they are trading at but I liked at the end how you used which sector it was from
ReplyDeleteNice job Tammy:) you did a good job evaluating the 52 week information in comparison to its competitors and you had a good, specific prediction! Maybe you could just expand on why else Progressive is better than its competitors because the drops in trade price can be unpredictable no matter the 52 week info. but nice job!
ReplyDeletegreat information! maybe include what you bought your stock for.
ReplyDeleteYou should add how much the stock was and it's current cost. This would give more info on when would be a good time to buy it and a good time to sell it.
ReplyDeleteGreat idea buying an insurance stock such as Progressive. People need good insurance during bad economic times because they dont want to have to spend more than they should have to when money is tight on car repairs, house damage, ect. You showed all the needed 52 week information, and mentioned different competitors, but did not go in any details. Good job.
ReplyDeletegood job. if it is a investment does the stock have a dividend.
ReplyDeleteVery good job! I love how you described Progressive and what they provide. You included the 52-week information which is good to know. Very good prediction Tamara.
ReplyDeleteeverything is good you can add more info about the numbers and rates of that stock, thats the only thing i can see wrong with it.other than that good work
ReplyDeletePrice you bought it or would be helpful. What does Obamacare do to insurance companies? Will it help them in long run?
ReplyDeletethis is a good post, the only thing i would suggest is giving more detailed information about competators.
